Diesel Dog

We lost our Dog suddenly last week.  It was heart -wrenching and many tears lingered through the week.  Diesel was 10 years old with life still left in him in my opinion.  What happened is unknown, maybe a snake bite but what remains is the JOY he brought to our family.

Diesel was such a great dog.  

He was super smart, energetic, loved balls and always protected our family.  

I loved his beautiful black and white coat, brown eyes, and the way he was always walked me to the front door when I would get home after dark.  He was the first one I would see when I got out of bed and the last one I checked on before turning off the lights and locking the door at night.

We will never forget our Diesel Dog.

With heavy hearts we will miss him terribly.

Life is sure a precious thing.  

Losing him really made me realize how quickly and

unexpectedly things can happen.  

Dogs come into our lives to teach us about loyalty.

They depart to teach us about loss.

A new dog never replaces an old dog;

it merely explains the heart.

If you have loved many dogs your heart is big.
