Mammoth or bust

Spring break 2017 we decided to road trip to Mammoth and celebrate Ryden turning 9 years old.  The drive there was absolutely breath taking.  Snow covered mountains and rushing rivers definitely made the long trip around the mountain worth it.  

This trip was just what the doctor ordered.  We were able to hit the slopes, cook meals in the condo, nap, soak in the hot tub, and play games in the evening.  I already can't wait to go back this summer when the Sonora Pass is open and we can mountain bike.  

A favorite family vacation spot for sure.

 

 

For Ryden's Birthday we decided to try out Mammoth Brewing Company for dinner.  The kids enjoyed the freshly brewed root beer.  This place is a cool "locals spot."
