Nine year Anniversary

For our nine year anniversary we took a little road trip down south.  Below are some pictures of the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes California where we stayed one of the nights.  This particular anniversary was such a treat and we were blessed to visit some great spots.  My heart is extremely thankful for the extra hours of work Jason put in to make this happen.  

The first day at the resort the hubby and I explored the beach, lounged by the pool, ate yummy food, and enjoyed each others company.

The next morning the two of us were able to sleep in until the sun peacefully woke us up through the windows.  We decided to wait on breakfast and headed down to the cutest cafe where we grabbed coffee togo.  Our walk along the ocean was unreal.  

             

After finishing our coffee and admiring the scenery I wanted to make our way to the cave.  Jason went in it the first day but I was too nervous with the tide.  Getting down there was definitely an adventure in my sundress and flip flops but I made it.  Our waitress the day before gave us some history about the resort.  She shared that this cave was the same cave Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed in.  How cool is that.
