A single match can start a roaring fire.

Last night was awesome.
We attended worship at our church ( New Life Church ) where Jesus Culture played live.
During the song ( Show me your Glory ) I was reminded of Matthew 24:30.
I couldn't stop thinking of that verse as the song so sweetly spoke to my soul.
As I stood there in HIS presence and mediated on HIS word, I was reminded that I belong to HIM and while here on earth I have work to do.
I felt like He was telling me it only takes a single match to start a roaring fire.
I am a single person (a single match) that can start a roaring fire of people who are passionate for Jesus.
As Christians we can all be the spark that ignites fire.
This morning Pastor Brady Boyd preached on Acts Chapter One.
He explained how its good to acknowledge that there will be a day of the Fathers coming but not fixate our lives on it.
God wants us to write our story here on earth while sharing our testimony to His glory.

"God is AUTHORITY but he gives us POWER." Pastor Brady Boyd

Lets be the spark that spreads HIS roaring fire.

We had a blast this weekend!
Our family came to spend a few days with us here in Colorado.
It was good to reconnect.
Lots of sweet memories were made.
Below are some of the memories captured.

Playing Dress Up....

Playing dress up..
Often I coordinate mine and Violets's outfits.
Yep I have my own little dolly and at 29 I still play dress up.
Today we went with a denim theme.

I am wearing my BOHO clip in extension from Birds of a Freckle.
You can purchase one by clicking here
Its so feminine, lacy, unique.

I love the back of this linen shirt.

Good Friday

Happy Good Friday Friends.

Your never too old for an Easter Basket right.
Here are a few pretties that ended up in my basket while shopping for the kiddos.
Essie polish color: {a crewed interest}
A new journal with the perfect inspiration {do what you LOVE}
And a pair of lace leggings. I found these cuties at target for 5 bucks.

What I wore today..
A flowy feminine dress.
This is my new favorite way to wear a dress; layered.
Either with a sweater or shirt.
Today was super windy (one of my least favorite things about Colorado) so I wore a sweater.
I bought both the dress and sweater at Forever 21 awhile back.

Below is our first attempt to capture my outfit.
Tumbleweed anyone?

So we moved our photo shoot inside.
It was a Good day.

It is a "GOOD Friday" indeed,
Not only because I made myself a little Easter basket.
Not only because I love layering tops over dresses.
Not only because it is opening day for the Giants.
But because today is the day our Lord laid down his life for us.

1 John 3:16
We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us.
So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters.

Thank you Jesus for giving us a chance to be FREE.

Music is good for the soul.

I love listening to my husband write music.
It is a relaxing, heart warming kind of feeling.
His heart & mouth sing to the Lord as his fingers beautifully strum the guitar.

This module he is blessed to have Jared Anderson teach his song writing class.
I am excited as I will be blessed to hear one new song per week, written by my amazing hubby.
This week's song is on creation:)

HIS creations are pretty amazing if you ask me.
You just have to slow down and recognize them.
They are everywhere.

Isaiah 12:5 Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world.
