Amateur Photo Shoot.

Trying to figure out this sweet camera of ours without a manuel.  We purchased our Nikon D40 on craigslist for a smoking price but unfortunately it did not come with the manuel, this is a slight problem for a beginner. Thank goodness for the internet and all of the kind photographers who give step by step instructions and tips on their blogs.  There is still much to be figured out but by doing this I sure have captured many precious moments, that's the point of this thing right.  This evening we took a drive to find an empty field and I got to play with the camera while my husband got to drive his truck on a dirt road.  It was a win win compromise.
